Video VolunteersVideo Volunteers is an international media organization empowering the voices of the world’s unheard communities. Its mission is to empower the world’s poorest citizens to right the wrongs they witness by becoming players in the global media revolution. 

Video Volunteers launched its community news service, IndiaUnheard, on 3rd of May 2010. Since then, we have trained 45 people to be community correspondents, voices of an India beyond the margins. We’re looking for passionate community members whom we can train to become the voice of their communities.

The project implementing personnel often lack necessary skills of documenting and reporting their own achievements in the projects. Analyzing the situations, the processes of interventions made and the achievements/outputs is difficult task for the project personnel.

We have a set of basic resources that introduce the broad topic of water in India, for any visitor to the India Water Portal. One such resource is our page on water facts, which is a work in progress.
