There are several things that could be done to improve the content on India Water Portal. With this, we aim to start a series of posts listing some of the tasks that you could take up to contribute to the India Water Portal and the broader vision of "Safe sustainable water for all".
We have a set of basic resources that introduce the broad topic of water in India, for any visitor to the India Water Portal. One such resource is our page on water facts, which is a work in progress.
To add to it and supplement it, you can contribute by helping us with the Wikipedia page on water supply and sanitation in India.
This Wiki tries to summarise the status of water and sanitation in India. However, we find that some of the source documents mentioned on the page are offline or non-working links. If you are interested in volunteering with the India Water Portal, you can begin by going through the Wiki and trying to validate as many of the facts as possible on that page, thereby updating the data where more recent and relevant data is available.
