Research and Action in Natural Wealth Administration (RANWA) is an NGO, established in 1993 by a group of nature enthusiasts in Pune, is involved in diversified activities related to environment protection, conservation, education and research. Applications are invited for the post of temporary position of `Project Assistant’ under the project entitled, ‘Western Ghats Portal’.
Job description:
The project is related to database creation and management of information on biodiversity of northern Western Ghats. It primarily involves secondary data collection by visiting libraries, institutes, documenting information by consulting resource persons in this field and information available in the public domain. Will also involve travel to western ghats of Maharashtra for data collection purpose. Project duration is one year.
Qualification:
M.Sc. Biodiversity / M.Sc. Botany / M.Sc. Zoology / M.Sc. Life Sciences / M.Sc. Environmental Sciences. Candidates who have appeared for their final examination are also eligible to apply.
