Key Outcomes
This article published in the journal Current Science presents the findings of a study that aimed at developing a rapid inventory on the impact of the recent climatic changes on the ecosystem, flora and fauna of the Himalayan region with a special emphasis on livelihoods.
The project on “Mainstreaming coastal and marine biodiversity conservation into production sectors in the East Godavari river estuarine ecosystem”, Andhra Pradesh with a special focus on the Coringa wildlife sanctuary is being implemented by the Government of India and Government of Andhra Pradesh, with United Nations Development Programme as the lead agency and with funding support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF).
Green Yatra is a registered non-profit trust dedicated to the protection and conservation of mother earth and it’s environment. It strives to maintain the integrity of the ecosystem for the benefit of all living creatures by introducing and adopting simple green lifestyle and eco-friendly ideas in daily lives.
