Job description

The focal point coordinates and leads all the work related to the programme. He/she will play the key role in engaging respective programmatic and thematic sub-committee, drafting action plans as per suggested strategies and leading the implementation of activities. He/she is expected to manage all project management functions for the agreed projects and assist in program development.

WASSAN is a national level resource support organization working mainly for strengthening community based natural resource management programs in different parts of the country.

WASSAN and its partners are providing capacity building support services to State Level Nodal Agency, Government of Chhattisgarh from Nov 2012. As part of this mandate, WASSAN is establishing a secretariat for supporting Integrated Watershed Management Projects (IWMP) in Chhattisgarh state. WASSAN is looking for a team of professionals who could be part of this secretariat at Raipur, Chhattisghar state.

Coordinator – Capacity building (2 positions) - Requirements

Persons with at least 5 years of experience in participatory watershed management with a specific focus on capacity building; research and technical support services are expected to apply.

Post graduates in engineering, social work, agriculture and other relevant disciplines are eligible to apply.
