How to create engaging online training sessions
Paving way for virtual engagement of participants

Delivering training is as important as creating good quality content. Engaging an audience in virtual sessions is not an easy task. We at INREM Foundation have found some success in the last two years by approaching online interactions differently. Here is a snapshot of our methods that have worked for us.

Multimodal learning

Poisoned waters of Kashmir
Indiscriminate use of pesticides has not only contaminated the freshwater resources in Kashmir valley, but also increased risks to human health. Posted on 27 Feb, 2023 03:15 PM

Pesticides and fertilisers have been used indiscriminately to increase crop yields and agricultural output in India and their excessive use has been feared to threaten human health as well as biodiversity through contamination of surface and groundwater resources.

Building content on water quality for scale
Innovative training and learning methods developed by INREM Foundation not only ensure that learner's needs are prioritised, but also help in adapting content to suit different contexts. Posted on 19 Feb, 2023 08:12 AM

Our drinking water is fraught with quality issues like chemicals, microplastics, excessive minerals, bacteria, and other contaminants, which tend to be local in nature, and require mitigation action at the local level. Frontline workers in these localities require an understanding of how to assess the local water quality and what steps to take to address issues that are discovered in water.

Healing traditions in India have withstood the test of time. Not many of us need to be taught to mix a pinch of haldi in a glass of milk to cope with sore throat, now famously known as turmeric latte, or to add a pinch of dry ginger to our tea when we catch a cold.
