April 25, 2023 पल्थरा एक छोटा सा आदिवासी गांव है, जो मध्यप्रदेश के पन्ना जिला मुख्यालय से करीब 35 किलोमीटर दूर जंगल में है। यहां समुदाय ने आगे बढ़कर जल प्रबंधन का काम अपने हाथ में ले लिया है और यहां न केवल वर्तमान में नल-जल योजना का सुचारू संचालन हो रहा है, बल्कि भविष्य में पानी की दिक्कत न हो, इस पर भी ध्यान दिया जा रहा है। यहां हर घर में नल कनेक्शन है।

Water use efficiency includes any measure that reduces the amount of water used per unit of any given activity, consistent with the maintenance or enhancement of water quality.

Water use efficiency has a clear role to play in sustainable development, in other words, the use of the earth's resources by today's inhabitants while assuring that future generations have sufficient capacity to meet their own needs. Improving the efficiency of resource use comprises one means of meeting sustainable development goals.

Its been three weeks since I moved into my new rented apartment. It's a classic situation in which I am caught up in. I am a consultant working on "SUSTAINABLE WATER solutions", but I hardly have control on a leaky tap in my bath room. This leaky tap can fill up a bucket of water in a period of 2 hours. The capacity of my bucket will be around 30 liters.
