Study finds Ganga-Bhagirathi delta slowly disappearing into the sea

A study by noted geographer Prof Kalyan Rudra and funded jointly by the state and central governments has found that the world’s largest delta-the Ganga-Bhagirathi delta- is slowly disappearing into the sea.

This writeup aims at comparing the Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan (NBA) guidelines with the Total Sanitation Campaign (TSC) guidelines released on July 2012 by the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation (MDWS) and focuses on and analyses the modifications/changes and additions included in the NBA Guidelines.
