About the organization and position

Aaranyak (A scientific and industrial research organisation of India) wants to engage two research scholars in two of its projects to be conducted under the supervision of Dr. Partha J. Das, Head, ‘Water, Climate and Hazard (WATCH) Programme’.

Aaranyak's mission is to foster conservation of biodiversity in Northeast India through research, environmental education, capacity building and advocacy for legal and policy reform to usher a new era of ecological security.

Job profile

Both the jobs require intensive field work in collaboration with local communities in the eastern Brahmaputra sub-basin comprising mainly eastern parts of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Candidates who have shown proficiency in their subjects, love to take challenges, can work with communities, are skilled in writing reports in English and explore areas for future research will be preferred.
