We take up focused programmes that address lack of equitable access to water, in a sustainable manner, amongst all citizens, through partnerships and grants across the country.
We are looking for a Project Manager for a Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) project for Sanitation. The Project Manager will lead the Sanitation-BCC project at Arghyam. The term of engagement could be either as a full time consultant or a full time employee. In either case, the person will work from Arghyam’s office in Bangalore.

The Fellowship
The INTACH (Delhi chapter) Fellowship is established on 19 November 2012 to mark the 'Heritage Week' celebrations at INTACH. A three-month research fellowship will be offered on an annual basis by the Centre for Conservation Training and Capacity Building located at INTACH headquarters in New Delhi. This Fellowship is being established by the Delhi chapter of INTACH to support the activities of the centre in the Delhi NCR region.

Hindustan Unilever Vitality Foundation has been set up as a not-for-profit entity by Hindustan Unilever Limited with the intent to make a difference in the domain of water, specifically to further “water for public good” in India. In the first phase of the programme, the primary deliverable was to create significant water conservation potential. To this end, HUVF has partnered with reputed NGOs, pursuing projects in more than 150 villages across India.
In the second phase of the programme, HUVF wishes to support NGO partners who along with communities can proactively contribute to systemic and policy level change at the macro-level using the experiences and learnings from the micro-level projects, while furthering their execution.
Accordingly, the key deliverables in the second phase of the programme, would be interpreting and delivering on certain “Principles of water” through micro-action and contributions arising from these actions to leading to systemic and policy change on water, apart from benefits from water conservation and the allied micro-level project impacts. Considering the water nexus with the social landscape, environment and food security, a mix of actions, in different ecosystems and in a diverse socio-economic milieu would be needed.

This is “to create manageable networks between JNNURM cities for cross-learning and sharing knowledge on urban reforms and governance”. The National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) is the National Coordinator for this programme. The ‘Knowledge Support’ component of PEARL is supported by Cities Alliance. This position is available within this component.
