The Meghalaya Water Resources Development Agency was created to promote convergence and participatory development in the water sector. The idea was to enable the Irrigation Directorate to function as an effective supporting agency for newly created water resources. The Agency is also to be involved in preparation of basin plans required for promoting optimum use of water resources

Description:

The Meghalaya Water Resources Development Agency, invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from Consultants/Institutions/Firms for the “Study on the impact of the implementation of the Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme (AIBP) and NRDWP in the State of Meghalaya" with special reference to recently completed projects, considering three projects in each of the seven districts, implemented by different agencies, for performance evaluation, post project study, mapping of learning inputs of recommendations for improvement in technical and management aspects.

 The supporting documents and information to be submitted are:-

  1. Profile of the party with current financial position, details of promoters, background and management structures.
  2. Comprehensive plan for fulfilling the set objectives.
  3. Details of the infrastructure available for carrying out the assignment.
  4. Past experience of the same or similar nature of work and work in hand, if any, with brief information on the same.
  5. Experience of key personnel, qualification, relevant experience.
  6. Financial strength of the consultants - turn over for the last 3 (three) years.
  7. Experience of working in the North Eastern Region, if any.

Detailed terms and conditions, scope of work, etc, may be obtained from the Office of the undersigned during working hours from 15.12.2011 to 03.01.2012 on payment of Rs. 100 only (non-refundable) per set or the same may be downloaded from the website of the Department as mentioned below and the same be submitted to the Department along with the EOI enclosing Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs. 100 only (non-refundable) per set.

The last date for submission of EOI is on January 4, 2012 upto to 2 pm and to be opened on the same date and time in the presence of the consultant or their authorized representatives who would like to be present.
