Jagriti Foods is a startup working towards creating a brand of natural and healthy products that are staples to the Indian diet. This will be accomplished by working directly with farmers by providing quality inputs, teaching improved farming practices and creating a portfolio of technologies that will boost productivity. The farmer’s produce will be brought at market rates and will then be processed such that it maintains maximum nutrition and taste. Our pilot will be launching soon in U.P. and our initial product will be wheat based.
Our ambitious goals will be only met when we have an exceptional team! We are looking for technical and business people with strong agriculture, food, FMCG and supply chain and rural development backgrounds. Though experience in these fields is desired, the lack of it should not keep you from applying. The biggest factors we are looking for are passion for building the company and an innovative thought process that can redefine the agriculture sectors such that it becomes a lucrative business for farmers vs. being need based. At this point, the roles are not strictly defined. We are seeking like-minded people who are essentially a part of the founding team.
Interns
We are also looking for undergraduates, postgraduates and recent graduates with relevant background who think there’s more to life than crunching numbers, running scripts and making PPT’s. This will be an excellent opportunity to be a part of a very young startup and get some hands-on field experience. Application instruction same as above.
