Dainik Bhaskar Group has become the dominant newspaper publishing house with eight newspaper titles all across the northern, western and central states of the country. It has successfully entered into various other business ventures viz. FM Radio, BTL activities, SMS short codes and digital support.
Description:
Dainik Bhaskar Group is sensitive to its social responsibilities. It has been successfully working in the field of water conservation in all its markets. Tilak Holi, a concept created by it to symbolize and save water during holi is now an acceptable way of enjoying the festival.
There is need to bring to the centre stage those who are bridging this gap. Such recognition goes beyond just bolstering these individuals and inspiring others to follow in their footsteps. As a society that benefits from their work it is our responsibility to acknowledge their role in making India more just, equitable and sustainable.
Dainik Bhaskar and DNA instituted the India Pride Awards in 2009 to recognize excellence in Public Sector Units - India’s primary engine of socio-economic development. These awards have now been extended to highlight distinguished work done by individuals, organizations/institutions and civil servants in enhancing socio-economic inclusion.
This year Dainik Bhaskar invites nominations for the ‘India Pride awards for Social Change Agent and Impact Creator - Civil Servant’. This award category has been instituted in the belief that both the state and society have an equal role to play in nation building. These awards are an extension of their annual recognition of Public Sector Units who continue to play a vital role in India’s economy.
