Indian Documentary Producers' Association (IDPA) is a non-profit organisation that came into being in 1956. It is registered as a public trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. Today IDPA is India’s single largest association of producers of documentaries, animation films, advertisement films and TV programmes. IDPA has organised film festivals and instituted awards to recognise and reward the talents of Indian short film makers. IDPA is also involved with educational institutions that offer courses in media and communications and would like to reach out to young people entering the profession.
IDPA is calling again to send in your entries for the IDPA Awards for Excellence 2010. Looking forward to your participation and do spread the words to your friends and colleagues. The special categories are: Films on environment, Films on disabilities and Films shot on cell phones.
Eligibility:
Any film or video produced in India from 1st Dec 2009 to 30th April 2011, is eligible for entry. Students are not eligible for technical excellence categories.
Last date for receipt of entries: 15th May, 2011
Late entries will be accepted up to: 31st May, 2011
Regular entry fees upto 15th May, 2011 for first entry of title by professional (non-member): Rs. 1500/-
Regular entry fees upto 15th May, 2011 for first entry of title by student (non-member): Rs. 600/-
IDPA members get a discount on entry fees.
