Description:
Nirmal Gram Puraskar (NGP) award giving ceremony for block and select Gram Panchayats level awardees has been scheduled for 23rd March 2011 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Her Excellency President of India has agreed to grace the occasion.
Only one person as Gram Pradhan / Sarpanch / Head from the nominated Gram Panchayat will be permitted to participate in the function. In addition, one block / District Coordinator (from different districts) per 10 GPs or part thereof for a State as Liaison officer will also be permitted to attend the function. The Liaison Officer should be a person who knows the participants of the PRI personally and who would be approachable by them easily without any difficulty.
