This study report suggests that inadequate sanitation causes India considerable economic losses, equivalent to 6.4 per cent of India's GDP in 2006 at Rs. 2.4 Trillion. It quantifies the economic loss in health, tourism, access time and water due to inadequate sanitation. It also represents the effect of the same on rise of death due to water bone diseases. The data is presented in form of graphs and charts.
