The conference aims to build capacity and awareness of decentralised wastewater treatment systems as a viable sanitation option for countries in Asia, particularly in India.

Focus

(a) sustainable technical options,
(b) management options and the roles of various stakeholders,
(c) enabling institutional and regulatory frameworks for the effective implementation and scaling-up of decentralised systems.
