With a background in forest management (IIFM, Bhopal) and civil engineering (VNIT, Nagpur), she has been working in the non-profit and consulting sector and is skilled in documentation, monitoring and evaluation, research and programme management. Aarti Kelkar-Khambete is a public health researcher with experience of working on health and environment related issues among urban, rural and tribal populations. Her work and research during her MPhil (University of Sheffield, UK) and PhD (University of Pune, India) was on medical, social, environmental and behavioural determinants of health of women. She has around 15 years experience of working in the health and water sector, works as a consultant for organisations and is skilled in research, documentation, editing, writing reports, papers, reviews. She has a keen interest in exploring the relationships between health, water, ecology and environment related issues. She works with the Portal as a consultant, and is based in Pune, Maharashtra.
Sreechand Tavva leads technology strategy and manages technology at Arghyam and India Water Portal. He brings in a mix of technology skills, development expertise, and sustainability knowledge from over 10 years of professional experience working in social enterprises and startups on microfinance, sustainability, education and rural access. He has an M.A in Development from Azim Premji University and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTU-K. He lives in Bangalore.
