National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA) has been created to harness and harmonise tremendous potentials of the rainfed agriculture by converting weaknesses into strengths and threats into opportunities by appropriate policies, programmes, professionalism, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation.
NRAA invites Expression of Interest (EOI) for empanelment of professional agencies like NGOs/research institutions/development/academic/organisations with professional expertise and experience in the rainwater harvesting and water conservation measures undertaken as part of MGNREGS especially in terms of enhancing agriculture productivity and livelihoods in the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan. The study will include planning, site selection, design, implementation, socio-economic impacts, equity in water utilisation, institutional arrangements for its maintenance etc.
