National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA) requires services of outside experts /retired government servants as non-official young professionals/consultants in the following field:
- Agriculture/horticulture
- Animal husbandry and fisheries
- Forestry
- Water management
- Watershed development and
- Natural resource economics and social science
Educational qualifications and experience for young professionals:
- Having masters degree in relevant subjects or technical qualifications like B.Tech or equivalent in relevant field/subject. Persons with additional qualifications, research experience, published papers and post qualification experiences in the relevant field would be preferred
- Retired government employees with grade pay of Rs. 6,600 and above and at least five years experience in the required domain field would also be eligible
- Knowledge of computer application, MS-Office including excel, access etc.
Educational qualifications and experience for consultants:
- Having master degree in relevant subjects or technical qualification like B.Tech or equivalent in relevant field/subject and minimum post qualification experience of 10 years in the relevant field
- Retired government employees with grade pay of Rs. 7,600 and above and at least 10 years experience in the required domain field would also be eligible for consultant
- Experience in collection, compilation/analysis of statistical data, computer skills and preparation of project reports, reviews, notes, briefs etc.
