As we embark on designing a unified, national technology infrastructure for the Government of India’s National Jal Jeevan Mission, your role as a Senior Manager - Digital Infrastructure and Government Partnerships will be at the heart of pioneering a Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). This initiative will revolutionise the way states choose, build and innovate digital tools for achieving the JJM vision of safe sustainable domestic water to all rural households across the country.
Positioned within the Ministry in Delhi, this role offers a rare chance to closely engage with the government while driving a high-impact technology initiative forward. You will lead the government partnerships and work closely with the various stakeholders to architect & design state-of- the-art services and APIs, build data registries and establish critical standards and specifications. Skills
To effectively fill the role of Senior Manager - Digital Infrastructure & Government Relations for the Jal Jeevan Mission, a candidate should possess a blend of technical, managerial and interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills
● Technology Architecture Knowledge: Understanding of designing scalable and robust technology architectures. Familiarity with modern technology stacks, cloud services and enterprise systems.
● Understanding of creating and managing APIs for system interoperability. Skills in data handling, analysis, and interpretation to inform decision-making.
● Experience in implementing digital solutions in large-scale projects.
Managerial & Interpersonal Skills
● Strong organisational and planning skills to manage complex projects.
● Ability to navigate government processes and build strong relationships with officials.
● Skills in engaging and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including technology partners and community leaders.
● Ability to negotiate and manage partnerships effectively.
● Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
● Proficiency in preparing and presenting reports and proposals to various audiences.
Qualifications
● Minimum 10- 15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology-focused position with government partnership experience.
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
● Strong understanding of technology architecture, design & API development
● Proven track record of managing government relationships and understanding of government protocols.
● Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
● Rural Development experience is desirable.
