Arghyam is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Project Manager to oversee the successful implementation of strategic initiatives taken up by Arghyam in Assam under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) is a flagship program by the Government of India aimed at providing Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) to every rural household by 2024. It focuses on ensuring sustainable water supply infrastructure, enhancing water quality, and promoting water conservation practices. The mission also emphasises community involvement, capacity building, and the adoption of innovative technologies to achieve its objectives.
The role involves rolling out new technological, operational and capacity building solutions to achieve the desired outcome of functional household tap connections, conducting monitoring, learning and evaluation (MLE) activities, and coordinating with various stakeholders, including government entities and civil society organisations (CSOs).

● Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage relationships with government officials, CSO leaders, and other key partners.
● Project Management: Strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
● Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, draw insights, and apply findings to improve project outcomes.
● Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and navigate complex environments.
Qualifications
● Experience: Minimum of 5- 8 years of experience in project management and MLE, preferably in the not-for-profit sector and with governments, with a focus on technology driven solutions.
● Education: A Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in public policy, public administration, or a related field.
● Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with digital technologies and their applications in social sector projects.
● Passion for Water Security: A deep commitment to addressing water security challenges and improving community resilience. Should have experience of working in the water sector.
● Language: Proficiency in Assamese, Hindi and English.
