Description:
Expression of Interest/ Proposals are invited from the interested Service providers/accredited agency for adoption & certification of organic farming in Vegetables and Litchi fruit orchards areas of Bihar at farmer‟s level and related activity, as well as training to the identified government agency towards adoption, certification and marketing of organic produce.
The agency will be required to facilitate group organic farming for conversion of conventional fields/farms to organic, ensure necessary technology transfer as well as supply of organic / Bio-inputs to farmers, ensure necessary documentation with the help of the identified accredited agency and ensure organic certification with ensured market for the certified organic produce.

The agency will be required to facilitate farmer's group organic farming/Global gap farming for conversion of conventional fields/farms to organic, ensure necessary technology transfer as well as supply of organic / Bio inputs to farmers, ensure necessary documentation with the help of the identified agency and ensure organic certification/Global gap certification with ensured market for the certified organic produce.
Qualification:
- Agencies having at least 3yrs accreditation under APEDA for certification of organic produce. They shall have to furnish the requisite documents in this regard.
- Applicant organizations should have valid three years‟ Annual reports and audited balance sheets i.e; from 2008-09 to 2010-11.
- Agencies should have at least 5 yrs experience in organic farming, farmer‟s group formation, organic certification /Global Gap Certification and internal control system management applicable for grower group certification scheme of food.
- Company should have ISO certification.
- Annual Turn over of the company should be atleast `0.5 Crores.
- Company should have experience of implementing such projects for atleast two s
- Company should have experience and manpower on the Adoption and Certification of Organic farming & Global Gap Certification supported by documents.
