Environment Protection Training and Research Institute (EPTRI) was set up in 1992 as an independent registered society by the Government of Andhra Pradesh with assistance from the Government of India.
EPTRI is looking for the technical staffs, applications are invited from persons having requisite qualifications and experience for appointment to the following positions:
- Environmental Engineer: Qualification in: Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering followed by M.E/M.Tech (Env. Engg). Experience of two years after master’s degree in the field of air, water and noise modelling, involvement in the preparation of EIA reports.
- Environmental Scientist: Qualification in: Post graduate or Ph. D in environmental sciences. Experience of two years after master’s degree in environmental management related projects.
- Sociologist: Qualification in: Post graduate or Ph.D in sociology with any of the following subjects: Rural development & Management-rural economics, economic sociology. Should have minimum three years of experience in: Design and develop format/questionnaire for base line survey, social changes arising out of development projects and assessment of data so collected.
- Civil Engineers: Qualification in: M.Tech/B.Tech. Experience in Survey & Designing is essential.
- Municipal Solid Waste: Qualification in Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Total experience of ten years after master’s degree, in planning.
- Management Expert: Qualification in followed by Master’s degree in Public Health Engineering or master’s degree in environmental engineering. Supervision and commissioning of infrastructure projects, of which five years should be in municipal solid waste management project.
On part time basis the required jobs are as followed:
- Mechanical Engineer: Qualification in bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Total experience of ten years in industry or infrastructure projects in design and implementation. Preference will be given to those with experience in municipal solid waste management.
- Electrical Engineer: Qualification in bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Total experience of ten years in industry or infrastructure projects in design and implementation. Preference will be given to those with experience in municipal solid waste management.
All appointments are purely on contract basis
