The future of water, sanitation and hygiene in low-income countries: Innovation, adaptation and engagement in a changing world.
WEDC is one of the world’s leading education and research institutes for developing knowledge and capacity in water and sanitation for sustainable development and emergency relief. The WEDC International Conference is a practitioner and research focused conference, exchanging knowledge and experiences in the water and sanitation sector. We particularly encourage delegates from low-income countries, and those from the public and private sectors, Higher Education and research institutes, donors and bi-lateral agencies and NGO practitioners to submit papers.
Important Dates:
- Last date for submission of conference papers: 1 December 2010
- First review completed/corrections requested by: 31 January 2011
- Corrections completed by authors/submitted by: 28 February 2011
- Final notification of acceptance by: 31 March 2011
- 'Early bird' payment deadline: 1 May 2011
- Last date for submission of presentation files: 24 June 2011
- Registration of delegates at conference: 5/6 July 2011
Please note that papers not presented in the correct format will be returned.
All submissions of briefing papers are reviewed by WEDC. Submissions of all refereed papers are reviewed both by WEDC and an external referee.
Authors will have the opportunity to make corrections and clarifications.
