Bihar State Water And Sanitation Mission (BSWSM) is the supreme body for implementation of Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Programme in the State.

Job responsibilities :
- Monitor Sustainability Action Plan of all district.
- Assist in design of water sustainability system.
- Assisting DWSC in matters relating to Ground Water prospect maps and Geophysical investigation.
- Visiting district for review and technical guidance and providing reports.
- Analyzing ground water quality and quantity in the state from ground water sources. CGWB data & other state.
- Train PHED engineers and hydrological aspects.
- Preparing suitable training material of technical manual related to the subject.
- Extend technical support to EE PHED at District level design & developing plan to Ground Water recharge/ management projects to address water quality & sustainability issue.
- Liaison with related department for effective implementation of drinking water project with strengthening convergence.
- Any other task entrusted by the supervisor.
Duration :
Initially for one year and to be extended for another 3 Years or up to the project period whichever is earlier.
Remuneration:
RS. 22000/- PM, with scope of increase in salary RS 2000 per year in case of satisfactory performance (with maximum of RS. 30000, including mobility allowance).
Qualification:
B.Sc (Geology).
Preference :- PG in Geology/Hydrogeology
Experience:
3 Years experience of work in hydrogeology area with specific work in geophysical investigation/ source finding.
Preference :- Experience of working on Water and Sanitation in rural areas.
Age : Maximum 45 Years.
