Programme Overview:
The Tata Institute of Social Sciences announces the admission for the 2nd batch of "Post-Graduate Diploma in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene". The PGD WASH programme is being conducted by the School of Rural Development, TISS, Tuljapur Campus in association with the Center for Water Policy, Regulation and Governance (CWPRG), School of Habitat Studies, TISS Mumbai and United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF).
The programme has been designed with the specific intention to fill the crucial capacity gaps which inhibit the progress of water and sanitation programmes in India. The broader objective of the course is to develop a cadre of professionals with scientific and social skills to effectively manage WASH sector and its services. Many students of the first batch have already secured campus placements with reputed national and international agencies.
Eligibility: Graduates of any discipline can apply for the programme.
Please note that the last date for receiving application is 20th March, 2014 and the course will commence on 10th June 2014.
