Title: Investigation of the role of black carbon on aerosol radiative forcing over western India
Duration: Three Years
Eligibility criteria:
(1) Academic qualifications: M.Sc./M. Tech. in any of the following subjects:
Physics, Space Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geophysics, and Climate Sciences.
(2) The candidate must have taken Physics and Mathematics at the Under Graduate level.
(3) A minimum of 60% marks at Bachelor’s and Master’s level are required for all candidates.
CSIR/UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification is desirable but not necessary. Basic knowledge of computer programming and digital data processing is required.
Age Limit: Not more than 25 years as on 1 March 2014 (i.e., born on or after 01.03.1989).
Consolidated Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 16000 + 10% HRA for I and II years and Rs. 18000 + 10% HRA for III year.
