Project Summary:
In order to support innovative WASH services and help them scale, the project will employ a three-pronged approach:
Identify: Provide comprehensive, up-to-date information about programs with the potential to improve the way education systems operate for the poor.
Analyze: Analyze programs in order to translate good practices and build the body of research on non-state innovations and their role in education systems.
Connect: Connect those who are implementing, funding, and analyzing programs in order to facilitate the scale-up and adaptation of successful models.
R4D will provide grants to an initial group of 2 to 3 Country or Regional Partners based in low and middle-income countries to identify and document innovative WASH programs and facilitate linkages among stakeholders in their country or region, including program implementers, policymakers, researchers and funders.
