Young Ecologists Talk & Interact (YETI) is a conference for students and researchers working in the discipline of ecology in India. This event is meant to serve as a friendly, inspiring platform for early-career ecologists to present and discuss their work, exchange ideas, and may be even strike up collaborations with contemporaries from all over the country. YETI is unique in being entirely organised by student volunteers. Following the success of YETI last year, the 2010 YETI is being organized in Bangalore, and we hope that in the coming years YETI will travel to other parts of the country.
Researchers pursuing a PhD/Masters degree/Post-Doc/working as project assistants, affiliates, etc. at institutions, universities, non-government and other organizations involved in research in ecology, evolution, animal behaviour, and conservation science across India are invited to make oral/poster presentations at YETI. However, anyone interested in ecology is welcome to attend YETI.
Registration Fee: A nominal registration fee of Rs. 500/- would be payable. This includes lunch and tea for three days and two dinners. Outstation presenters will be provided accommodation free of cost for three days. However, YETI will not be able to provide any support towards travel.
