CGNet is pleased to announce that Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, New Delhi has agreed to help organize a week long workshop for citizen journalists from Central Tribal India.
In this workshop 30 citizen journalists will be trained to use instruments like mobile phone, camera and internet to report happenings around them. We expect that after the training these trainees will be able to train more people in their respective areas in using these instruments to report. We will also train them on audio editing to enable them to moderate platforms like CGnet Swara. We hope these trainees will be able to volunteer as moderators for future Swara platforms in tribal languages.
