About WIN Foundation:
WIN Foundation is a non-profit organization, established in US and with main operations in India. WIN Foundation funds, supports and facilitates innovation in the areas of (i) Water and Sanitation (WatSan) and (ii) Maternal and Child Health (MCH), primarily in India and apply it in empowering and improving the lives of underprivileged sections in a sustainable manner. Its primary operating unit is located at Research Park, IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. WIN Foundation also supports startups with solutions in these and related domains through funding, market access and market validation. In its first year, it has funded (i) field projects with NGO's (like ACT and VIKSAT), (ii) field and technology projects at Research Institutions (IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur) and (iii) also some startups.
About the conference:
With a theme of "Innovate and Empower to Accelerate Social Change", it aims to provide a platform for all stakeholders viz. NGO’s, Startups, Academicians, Professionals, Researchers, Scientists, Policy makers, students, Investors and many other ecosystem builders to present and discuss their latest solutions, products, projects, research, policies, programs and other initiatives, with common objective to drive and accelerate change in our under-served communities.
The conference will focus on 3 domains:
- Water and Sanitation,
- Maternal and Child Health and
- Smart Villages
