Description:
Consortium for DEWATS Dissemination (CDD) society is a non-for-profit organization comprising of like-minded network partners seeking to promote the provision of basic needs services in urban and rural environment through the promotion of decentralized solutions.
The objective of this training programme is to introduce social, technical and management skills to professionals for implementing sustainable sanitation solutions like CBS-DEWATS units in communities. In this context, it aims to impart holistic knowledge on successful project implementation, including an understanding of community dynamics, the most driving influences and parameters, techniques of participation, awareness building and promotions, smooth coordination of stakeholders’ interests and challenges as well as possible solutions during the whole process.
Eligibility:
The participants should have a minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in social work, wastewater, sanitation or water resources management.
Course fee:
The training programme is fully residential. It is designed for a maximum of 20 participants. The course fee is Rs. 15,000/-
