About PondyPHOTO
Initiated by PondyART, PondyPHOTO is a platform which uses art to break existing social barriers. Water is this year's chosen theme. Impactful photography, relevant talks and events mark the fest which opens on August 27 and culminates on September 11, 2016. As part of the national outreach, a series of presentations have been organised across select cities.
Chennai pre-event
The event features an interactive talk on the Ennore creek by noted city-based environment activist Nityanand Jayaraman and a presentation of photographer Amirtharaj Stephen's work: Water Through My Lens.
