SearNet is a network dedicated to the promotion of rainwater harvesting for improved water supply, food security and sustainable environment use. We are having a conference in July 11-16, 2010 in Awassa, Ethiopia. We kindly request if you may advertise our conference on your website.
"The Southern & Eastern Africa Rainwater Network (SearNet) hosted at the World Agroforestry Centre, in collaboration with the Ethiopia Rainwater Harvesting Association (ERHA) and the Rainwater Harvesting Implementation Network (RAIN) is organizing the 13th SearNet International Conference to be held on July 11 - 16, 2010 at the Taddesse Enjori Hotel, Awassa, Ethiopia. The conference main theme is “Rainwater Harvesting as a Means of Adaptation to the Challenges of Climate Change”.
Important Dates:
- Deadline for registration and confirmation of participation: June 10, 2010
- Deadline for submission of Abstracts: June 15, 2010
- Final submission of full papers: June 25, 2010
- Conference dates: July 11 -16, 2010
- Receipt of conference materials by registered participants: 11 July 2010
Registration fees :
Each participant will be required to make a contribution of USD 750, which will cover the following costs associated with conference: facilities and equipment, accommodation (standard rooms), provision of lunch and refreshments during the workshop, transport as well as secretarial support. Participants who pay before June 15th 2010 will pay USD 750, and those paying after and/ or upon arrival will pay USD 800.
Please note that the registration fee does not cover bank (transfer) charges.
