Description:
Members of Jal Biradari, Pune district Co-op Housing Federation Ltd, along with common people, will identify the water bodies in the city and surrounding areas during the 'Nadi and paryavarniya pravah saurakshan saptah', a weekly drive aimed at protecting rivers and water bodies.
Addressing a news conference, Suneel Joshi, convenor of Jal Biradari, said, "The drive will see people's participation, along with support from Bavdhan and Baner area sabhas. The drive, also supported by water conservationist Rajendra Singh, will cover nullahs, rivers and lakes."
