About Water.org

Water.org is an international non-profit organization that has transformed hundreds of communities in Africa, South Asia, and Central America by providing access to safe water and sanitation. In India, Water.org has been active since 2003. The organization presently works with NGOs and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) to meet the demand for water and sanitation improvements.

Water.org’s WaterCredit initiative has engaged leading WASH NGOs and microfinance institutions to expand access to water and sanitation through micro-loans.

About the forum

The forum is a selective gathering of leaders from the Water and Sanitation sectors to participate in an engaging, one-day session about access to water in India. There will be panel discussions on water related issues such as access to clean water, water quality issues in urban and rural areas, climate change, and the Challenges of accessing water for poor households.
