"Rejuvenation of a hill range", is a case study by Shivaram Pailoor, written in November 2004, about the work of a local seer who worked with forest officials to bring back some of the green glory, leading to a revival of local streams and improvement in the water table, in the Kapotagiri hill range in Karnataka, which was hit by metal mining and tree cutting, and was turning barren.
