The Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), an established research and advocacy institute known for its rigorous and scientific policy research and advocacy on environmental issues invites applications for the position of Database Manager to innovate methods of managing their huge database of contacts.
The contacts developed by CSE staff during their various interactions outside CSE for work, needs to be logged in categorically to be used during its conferences, seminars, media workshops, press releases etc., to select relevant invitees. This database is also used to disseminate their environmental messages and products.
CSE needs at least a Graduate with 2-3 years of experience in data feeding, data mining and query building. Should have expertise in MS-Access, MS-Excel, HTML and Mail merge. Sending out bulk emails for e-newsletters, e-promotion of our environmental magazines, films and books will be a regular feature of the work profile. Candidate should have a flair for categorising contacts and digging out relevant contacts as per requirement.
