About CDD Society
The Consortium for DEWATS Dissemination (CDD) Society is a not-for-profit organisation working in the field of decentralised basic need services across India. Decentralised solutions for wastewater treatment, water and energy supply, solid waste management and urban sanitation planning are successfully promoted for the past ten years.
Objective
The objective of this training programme is to impart technical and social skills on decentralised solid waste management projects with a focus on reduction, reuse and recycling.
Eligibility criteria
Participants should have a minimum of 1-2 years of prior work experience in social and community work or waste management
- English language skills are required as that will be the medium of instruction and teaching
- Potential participants for this training course are practitioners associated with community work on sanitation and waste management issues from varied backgrounds such as :
- Local government units and public bodies
- NGOs and civil society groups
- Academic institutions
- Other organisations from relevant sectors
Programme Fee
The training programme is fully residential
Fee:

- Indian Residents- Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only)
- Participants from developing countries: 325 Euros (Three hundred twentyfive Euros Only)
- Participants from developed countries: 400 Euros (Four hundred Euros Only)
The selected participants need to send a DD/Cheque for the above amount in the name of CDD Society, payable at Bangalore to the address given below.
