Organizer: Consortium for DEWATS Dissemination (CDD)
Venue: Bangalore
Description:
The Consortium for DEWATS Dissemination (CDD) Society is a not-for-profit organisation working in the field of decentralised basic need services across India. Decentralised solutions for wastewater treatment, water and energy supply, solid waste management and urban sanitation planning are successfully promoted over the last ten years.
CDD aims to create a knowledge base for up-scaling decentralised basic need services through its capacity building approach. It has hence planned to organise several training programmes during 2010 in Bangalore. The programmes will impart skills in planning, constructing, maintaining and managing Decentralised Basic Need Service (DBNS) systems.
Training programmes are being designed in a manner that, based on the area of interest, participants could select an appropriate course. Interactive sessions, field visits, analysis of case studies and hands-on training will be provided. These will be done by an experienced CDD training team while also sourcing suitable resource persons from BORDA and relevant organisations, representing a balance between academics and practitioners. On successful completion of a training programme, participants will be awarded a certificate by CDD Society.
If interested in participating in the training, may we suggest that you send us an email or letter; so that we could send you the detailed brochure and application forms.
