The Gujarat Water Summit 2012 is being organised jointly by CII and the Government of Gujarat.
About the event
Water is one of the most critical resources not only from a life perspective, but also from a development perspective. Besides its usage for drinking purposes, it also serves a wide range of needs including irrigation, industrial usage and domestic applications.
Gujarat is the most industrialized state in the country. With sustained investor confidence, stable governance and favorable business conditions, the average GSDP growth over the last five years has been over 10%. The State is committed to harnessing alternate sources of water. For this, technologies to improve water conservation are a must.
