The plant with three filling lines (bottling and canning) has tried to achieve positive water balance through water savings at plant level, water initiatives at community level and by promoting water conservation measures in agriculture.

Work taken up focussed on promoting direct seeding instead of transplantation in the paddy crop. As a result of this, about 30% reduction in water consumption was achieved covering about 1100 acres in 5 states. Farmers could also reduce their production costs by upto Rs.1400/acre.

 The various efforts taken up include reducing water usage and effluent generation, rainwater harvesting, treating and reusing effluent, reducing chemical usage, reducing ETP sludge, implementing zero discharge and more.
