This document by the Department of Water Resources, Government of Goa, is an act that aims to protect, develop and regulated Khazan land in Goa. This will be done by evolving systematic and comprehensive measures for maintenance and upkeep of the protective bunds in the State of Goa including the sluice gates, prevention of water logging, sea ingress, improvement of soil fertility and evolving schemes for the cultivators/farmers to grow suitable crops ensuring maximum benefits
