PJRB-SPARC has compiled an extensive database of Central Government and Punjab State Government schemes for agriculture and agriculturists. In this ToT, an overview will be shared about these schemes and how to enable farmers to avail of their benefits.

Funding is available to support at least two researcher exchanges to be undertaken during the period 01 January 2019- 30 June 2019: at least one exchange by an Indian water scientist to the UK and at least one exchange by a UK water scientist to India.

In the ToT, participants will learn about the internationally accepted principles that govern Conservation Agriculture (CA), its practice globally and in India and join networks for this profitable, resource efficient and health giving method of agriculture. The curriculum is based on FAO guidelines and enriched by visits to fields practicing this method in Punjab.
