With horror we saw on television, the Japanese experience of a huge 9.0 scale earthquake, followed by a terrible tsunami. The first images show large amounts of black water entering the country side and passing over the protective wall barriers.

The consultants,  Green Systems, have conducted an indepth study of various parameters which include hydro-geology and climatic conditions to come up with a set of proposals for the hotel. This study by Green Systems, details the groundwater condition at the Jindal  Steel  and Power Limited (JSPL) in Raigarh, Chattisgarh. A major component of the study is to determine the impact of the various water storage and harvesting structures on the groundwater regime of the area. By using a variety of scientific methods which include remote sensing and satellite maps, it is concluded that these structures have improved the groundwater regime in the area.
